Pytanie #1:

the most well conditioned mma fighters there is today?

it doesn't matter how technical your striking is or how good your chin is, how fast you are how angry you are, how good your bjj is... if you dont have wind your nothing... conditioning is the building block for any fighter, to me its the most important thing there is in fighting.. who are the top conditioned fighters in your opinion there is today? not skills just conditioning. here's just a few that come to mind for me

diego sanchez ( he can ground n pound, scrample, brawl whatever for 30 mins straight HARD any day of the week)

clay guida(need i explain>?)

frankie edgar(this guy could prob seriously go 5 rounds with the prodigy then go fight another damn fight right after and be fine lol ok maybe a bit exaggerated but wow hes well conditioned)

Pytanie #2:

Have you ever noticed?

That Christianity is the best every successful person is christian every unstoppable boxer or mma fighter is at a branch of Christianity, how may famous atheist boxers mma fighters or really famous (and likable people) do you know? Christianity is the best you cannot deny it

Pytanie #3:

What are the steps in getting your first professional fight ( payed fight)?

i trained for a long time a few years ago and i started training in mma with Jorge "maccaco" patino.

The training is intense and its more mental than anything, but he said that my first amatuer fight will be 6 months from now.

Usually the first 3 are non paid fights until. and the first professional bout is 1k. But what are the names of the amatuer circut then where do you advance from there? I dont care about the money i just want to train and make something of all this time and effort.

Where would you advance to would be my quesiton like what are the names of the amatuer circuts then the advanced fight circuts. I'm a batan weight fight.

Detailed answer are appreciated thanks guys!

Pytanie #6:

How can MMA`be a sport if theres no unified rules?

Some MMA organisations fight in an octagon others in a ring. Some are allowed to use knees to the head whilst on the floor others cant. How can something with no unified rules be a sport?

BQ: Since when was wrestling a martial art? Most the best guys are just wrestlers who learnt a bit of bjj and striking.
boxing has unified rules all over the world. In europe MMA is miles behind boxing, we really dont care for it.

Pytanie #7:

So, Does he want to experiment with me?

Okay so I met this dude on Thursday at my new school. I'm almost positive he likes me, He always calls me pretty.. And I got his myspace today.. But on his past statuses on myspace it says "Shes pretty" On THURSDAY. On friday he asked me for my number.. And on friday his status was "Got her number" Lol.. So I'm pretty sure he was talking about me.. xDD So we were IMing yesterday night.. He asked me how many boyfriends I had in my life. I told him 6. And then he asked who was my first kiss. I told him I had one quick peck.. But I don't count it as a kiss.. And he told me he had his already. We switched from talking to IM to texting because his laptop died. So I'll read are conversation text by text.
H=Him M=Me
M: Well if you consider a quick peck a kiss then yeah but I don't consider it a real one lol.
H: So you never had your had your first kiss? R u like waiting for someone you love?

The rest of the conversation we pretty much tried to change the subject lol. So I'm kind of confused.. Does he really want to do that with me? Or was he playing around.. Because I was being serious xD Btw, I'm 13 hes 14. He's turning 15 in like a month. And I'm turning 14 in 5 months lol.. (He got held back)

Whats more classy, Boxing or MMA?

Mixed Martial Arts or Boxing?

Im not interested in whats a bigger sport at the moment, nor am i interested in a who can beat who comparison.

All im interested in is what you, the people, see as a more visually appealing art - Whats more aesthetically comfortable to your eye?

Cite things like attire, positions, stances and round structure but please dont place too much emphasis on either sports entertainment aspects.
Whats better on the eye..Boxing or MMA?

Pytanie #14:

I just need someone, to say something. anything that can help?

This is kind of embarassing, but im hoping that fellow martial artists(fighters) will be mature. Well, here it goes.

For most of my life, ive been in martial arts. I trained under some no-nonsense Gung Fu instructors for most of my life, but also did extensive grappling/self-defense training with Bjj, Folk style wrestling, and Krav-maga. My goal was to be a world champion in Sanda. Then MMA started to get popular, and I wanted to go into in MMA to show the world that Chinese art also had value. After having some success in Bjj tourneys, Full-contact karate, and other avenues, I began to work harder and harder. Which turned into excessive over-training. I accumulated injuries (some pretty bad ones), which nagged and turned into disabilities, until I was strongly urged by friends, family, and doctors to stop. Well, I havent competed in 2 years now. I now teach a few people, still spar, and have decent skill level. I actually made a deal with god 2 years ago, that if he kept my body strong enough to were I could teach/practice, that I would never get in the ring again.
Yet, after 2 years. I still miss it just as much as I did before. I constantly think about getting back in the ring. But, then I remember how lucky Iam to just have the health that I do now (painful but tolerable), and I also remember the oath I made to god. But still, my skills are still pretty good for a guy who had so many injuries. Every time I watch a boxing, mma match, or even a martial arts movie, I almost always start to cry. Just today, I was watching a boxing documentary about a young boxer whose dream was to be world champion, and he would do anything to get to it. He was really poor. He reminded me and myself. I started to cry, and then got angry and started punching a computer chair in my room, (whilst crying). I almost went into a frenzy and lost consciousness of where I was. Then I snapped back into reality, and the chair was broken in pieces. I just miss it so much. Its all I ever wanted. Even though I teach and still train, its not bringing in enough money, and its just not the same. sometimes I think about saying "**** my health" , and just fight anyways...but im married now, and I dont wont to be a further burden to my wife. I cant explain why I like to fight in the ring so much. I guess its the honor, the purpose, and fortitude it takes. It makes me feel like, im special. Its the only time I can be free. But, now it is gone. I miss that challenge.

I feel like this pain will never go away. Its like I lost a family member. I know I probably seem over-dramatic....but please understand, how important it was. I feel like, my chance was cut short. Im only 23, and already Iam forced to stop. I then considered joining the police (because alongside martial arts, I like to volunteer and help people), but I couldnt pass the medical exam. Then I tried to join the military, but I again, could not pass the medical exam because of health problems. I feel like my life isnt going anywhere.

I just dont know anymore. I really dont. I feel so lost. Can someone out there please shed some light on me with any words of inspiration or advice? If you are religious, could you please pray for me. I know I must seem cowardly saying all of this, and asking for help...but I just cant fight these problems on my own anymore.

Pytanie #17:

Filipino and Asian fans are you ready to stick to boxing and forget Mayweather's comments?

I know what Mayweather said was wrong and racist and i understand 100% your anger ,but truth is he did not kill, murdered or raped anyone for him to be so hated all of a sudden.Words can be painful but even if Mayweather is a racist that's his right today, isn't that so?So why you guys act like he did something that not thousands or even milions of people do daily today? When Hopkins and Mayweather , Toney did the same against Puerto Ricans or Whites (Calzaghe's case , MMA white boys thing,Rican Flag incident etc) not many of you seemed to care and many of you rooted for them in these cases if i remember correctly.Plus most of you are fans (i have noticed that in here, so do not deny it now) of the American Hip Hop subculture which supports these kind of acts then why you took it so bad?I say let's move on and stick to boxing!

PS
After all you as Asians, have China , Japan , South Korea , North Korea , Indonesia, India , which are all 100% Asian nations and all of them G 8 and G 20 members, with great economies, military , science , technology , business , history , civilization etc
China is obviously the new boss of the planet (according to Forbes within the next 10 years, global economy will be Chinese dominated by far) and they will dominate most of fields of modern life like they do dominate Olympics today,so why you even care what an uneducated boxer with low self esteem issues has to say about your undeniable GREAT race (in terms of achievements)
Sword i am not a Mayweather's fan,i am a huge Pacquiao fan, my question is a huge medley to Asians and Asian culture, but i guess some in here people in this forum are so closed minded and one dimensional that can't even see that at all, they are so obsessed with what an ignorant, uneducated and most likely racist boxer said for their great race, that can't even see what i am saying here!

What i am saying is that what one piece of garbage said for your race can't change the facts about what Asians have succeed as a race all those centuries, please guys, read closer next time!

Help get into the US Air Force Academy?

I'm a senior in High school, and I have wanted to join the Ar force since about 6th grade but I've wanted to fly since I was 10. My grade point average is about 3.0 throughout High school, I don't do any extracurricular activities at school but on my own time I do MMA and Bike a lot. I'm an Average student and I'm going to do everything I can to keep a 4.0 for my senior, Although I think I'm going to get a 3.75 cause one of my classes seem really hard. I don't take any AP or Honors. Is there any chance or luck that I can get in to the US Air Force Academy. I will do anything my dream is to fly a F-22 or even an F-35 or an A-10. I noticed that the odds are stacked up against me but any advice can help. I will do almost anything to get in, can somebody help me.

What do you think about this quote, from a book I'm reading?

"The thought of Mr. J.L.B. Matekoni nursing secret, unfulfilled ambitions saddened Mma Ramatswe, as did the thoughts of people wanting something very much indeed and not getting the thing they yearned for.

When we dismiss, or deny the hopes of others, she thought, we forget that they, like us, have only one chance in this life."

Is my dignity worth fighting for?

For about 4 1/2 years, I have been training in Taekwondo. It was a mcdojo, but I crosstrained with a world champion kickboxer, so I got a somewhat realistic idea of actual fighting as oppose to that point sparring ATA crap. For about 7 months, I have been training in Chi-Kong, which is a deadly, lethal style. The only problem is that it takes years to master. About the 3rd week of Summer, I took up MMA. I enjoyed it immensely. I learned various moves such as the Guillotine Choke, the Arm Bar, the Triangle Choke(somewhat), and my favorite, the Kimura Lock. I also briefly trained in a Kickboxing class at the same MMA gym. It was only about 3 months of on and off training though. Im very good at sparring, and have recently added minor changes to my style, form, stances, and so-on to make it street fighting efficient. Some of these minuscule changes consist of a better guard, staying light on my feet, and no kicks above the waist. I have also created my own punch. Using the torque of my shoulders, and the rotation of my hips, I have created a lethal uppercut that I usually apply to the kidneys.

You may wonder where this is going, so i'll start with the question. I've been somewhat bullied thorough my middle school/ highschool years (im 15, a sophmore). While doing taekwondo, I lived in a false sense of security thinking that I could take on anybody. I now know my true skills, but I have a lack of confidence. My childhood best friend is now a pot head, and he and his friends attempt to screw with me. They are football players. One of them apologized, but one of their friends a grade lower than me, is giving me shit for no reason. He is constantly insulting me, degrating me, and robbing me of my sense dignity. I have never really stood up for myself. I am a big guy Around 6'0 175lbs. I didn't care much, but when your sense of yourself is being manipulated and changed by the words and actions of others, you start to care. This kid is a boxer, skinnny, tall and about 2 or 3 inches bigger than I. Should I fight him? I look back on my middle school experiences and regret my passivism, immensely. I am already regretting not standing up for myself. If I do, they will never screw with me again? Do you think I am skillful enough? Should I? What would you do?
With all de respect, the majority of people (martial artist mainly) who advocate against fighting, are the ones who have already experinced it before. This has happened to you before, in some shape or form.

Would the fight be dignified? Arguably. Would it be ratifying? Yes. Very. You can be having the best day of your life, then you are verbally assulted in the middle of the hallways during school. How dignifying is that? It is something you life the rest of your life with.
The ones who don't ever stand up for themselves are the ones that are found hanged in the middle of their room. Or the class shooter. Making someone live threw tourment of this nature is terrible, but actually putting up with it is worse.
Not saying I ever would do those things though*

Pytanie #33:

where do you see mma/ufc in 10 years? where do you see boxing in ten years?

this is something that's up for debate but wont be settled for a good ten years lol... i live with boxing fans and im an mma fan. of course boxing says it'll be back ect.. but lets look at the facts. mma is on a rise and boxing's on a decline, i see one more huge mega fight for boxing mainstream and hardcore wise and that's manny pacman vrs floyd. it'll never happen it seems. but after that whats next for boxing as far as the mainstream wise? i don't see anything anytime soon. and the younger generation is going nuts for mma. instead of the oscar delahoyas manny pacmans mayweathers i think there will be no more mega stars like that... instead i see more gsps chuck liddels anderson silvas bj penns jose aldos... every ones moving to mma and mma will have more talent on the way as boxing i see dying and continuing to die.. boxing's a great sport but the future looks dim on boxing and excellent on mma

Im an experinced martial artist. Huge fighting fear?

Ive been training in taekwondo for about 4 1/2 years, ive been doing Chi-Gong for about 7 months. My takewondo was a mcdojo, but I was crosstraining with a world champ kickboxer so I got actual results from it. I then took a MMA class, and briefly took a kickboxing class at the MMA studio. It recently closed down. Im an extremely heavy hitter, but im afraid that if I get in a street-fight, I will throw one or two punches then I will lock up and get pummeled in the face. Im 15 years old, about 6'0 and 175lbs. Would this happen? How do I train against it?
I am Nick, but the thing is my father (im 15) is at odds with my Taekwondo instructor, I just found out yesterday my MMA studio just closed down, so all I really have is the Chi-Kong. It is great, but doesn't focus on combat enough. Im definently not done training, just forced into a small hiatus.

The reason I ask this, is because my sparring has become much much better (I was good to begin with) since I got away from the TKD. Ive been trained to punch to the head. I even sparred my beast of a Chi-Kong instructor with no gear. He nearly knocked a tooth out lol. But anyway, there is a MAJOR change I will be forced to fight in the next week. This is a huge fear.

How would you go about fighting a girl?

FIrst off I would like to say that I never hit women and hopfully never will the reason why im asking this is because some of the girls at my school are punch first ask questions later and will punch people for the most unreasonable reasons. what I want to know is how you would go about ending the fight without hitting her in a hypothetical fight situation. by the way I know judo, mai thai and MMA and some military reversals but most of the drop to the ground counters I know involve mulitple strikes to the face which I dont want to do no matter how ghetto they are.

Pytanie #36:

Is business or engineering a better major?

Background info: I like a lot of different things, but mostly trucks and MMA excite me. In school I always loved math and science, my favorite math being statistics. I really liked American Gov. class just because I like news and just understanding what's going on in the world. I like puzzles like sudoku as well. I am trying to decide between an economics/business administration double major or mechanical engineering.

I honestly could see myself enjoying both (kinda.) I looked at the classes for both and, to be honest, the classes for economics sounded most interesting to me because of the world outlook in them and just learning about how the system works. I have always admired the ability to use wits and brains to use the system for one's benefit. But I hear about careers economists have and it sounds just awful to me. 100% office job isn't exciting to me. I like the idea of designing turbos for diesel engines or something like that. But I look at the course requirements for the engineering and it looks so boring and all physics and math. I am in Calculus 2 and am finding it really challenging, but I think I should be able to scrape through, but with a questionable understanding of the subject I'm sure. It leads me to the question: Is engineering right for me? Which is more practical and could get me farthest? As for business, I'd wanna do like sports advertising or running my own business. Those are the only jobs that are business related that I think I would enjoy. I don't really like stress and I want a normal work week. I have a job now that I work crazy hours any and every day of the week and I hate it. What sounds like the better fit?

I would appreciate any help.

Pros and cons of either major and maybe experiences from what being a business or engineering major is like would be really helpful, too.
Another part of this is that I'd apply to completely different colleges depending on which major I side with (I'm a sophomore in college-transferring to a 4 year university). So college choices starts playing into it as well. Because I like the school for business best. I like the two engineering schools I'm considering, but neither fit as well as the business school.

I have ended the Michael Cole gimmick. Does anyone love that the PG rating is coming to a close?

I have ended my Michael Cole gimmick on Yahoo answers because I am currently aiming to become a top contributer in the Canadian Football section just because no one uses that section. Funny how easy I can make ten points there. Do you guys like trolls or nerds better? I hate them both equally.
BQ: Is anyone other than me glad the PG era is coming to a close? I just recieved word that Vince is about through with dealings w/ Dixie Carter and should have TNA in his possesion in the next 6-13 months. It all depends on the way their meetings in January go.
BQ2: How many Wrestling/MMA/Boxing/Football(American or Canadian) live events have you ever attended. I've attended 2 wrestling events, 5 MMA, 1 Boxing event(which bored me like hell), and I've been to 8 American Football events.
BQ: KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE!

I'm a Senior now and want to join the Marines after High school any tips or advice?

After graduating High School I want to enlist in the Marines and probably choose the Firefighting MOS'S (Mos7051 or MOS 8811)or possibly even as a Tank Crew Man. it's what I really want to do. Really don't want to go to College an waste all that money for nothing and also during my time in the Marines I want to train and compete in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). Honestly it's what I want to do. My main questions are:
1. Do all MALE Marines have to go into the Infantry?
2. Do you think I'll have any regrets?

Thanks!

Trigonometry question?

Given that cos(A+B)/cos(A-B) = 1/4, calculate the value of tan A + tan B, if A + B = 45 degrees.

In my previous workings on the question i have shown that 3cosAcosB = 5sinAsinB as it required me to, and also shown that tanAtanB = 3/5. But I'mma stuck here. anyone help?
The answer is actually -2/3, so i guess the first guy got it wrong. Anyone else please try to help? i d really appreciate it

I recently went to see the Ray vs TIM match on YouTube.com and discovered that a lot of boxing fans were dogging MMA. Saying that MMA fighters can't take a punch a boxer can take any MMA fighter with only a little MMA training blah blah. I have been battling them in the comments section for quite some time by myself against many boxing fans. If you have a little time to spare could you help me out and let them know what's up. I am matthew10580 in the comments section. Please use this link. Click Here

NRHH: (City Stereotypes) Pet Peeves ?

What do you hate most in relation to your city and the stereotypes it brings?

I'm from Detroit. And, no matter how bad it gets I'mma still love my city... But... I hate when I travel and people be like "Oh, you're from Detroit? Have you ever met Eminem? Do you live on 8 Mile?"

Alright, I'm in Lafayette Park (midtown) which is 30 mins south of Warren, MI (the metro/suburb where Em' is from)... He probably don't even know about LP, let alone come here. So no, I never met the guy. I'd be content if I never did too.

How about y'all?
Edit: Haha! That's grimy.
That was @ DH.
Edit: @ Metal. Haha, I didn't even think about that. I'll be beastin', lol.
